Wee Arts Class
Here are some pictures from our trip to the Wee Arts Class at the Children's Museum of the Arts in Manhattan. We went with our friends Elissa and Adam. The class was especially for toddlers so Colin and Adam had a great time! We started in the front of the museum playing with homemade playdough and making dot pictures, then we moved to the next section where we played with sand, wrote on a chalk/crayon board, built with large squishy blocks, played with legos on a cool lighted table, and played with homemade "slime". The next section was painting!! We decided to forego the brushes and used fingers and rolled little plastic planes and cars through the paint and then on to the paper...at least part of the time...then Colin enjoyed painting his face! The last part of the class was downstairs where we listened to music and played drums and then played in the "ball pond". We had a great time! Claire napped most of time, but woke up with plenty of time to play and listen to the music.
